Held at Advance First Baptist Church (1938 NC Hwy 801 South in Advance, NC), this mission-based farmers’ market runs every Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to noon, April 25 through October 3, 2026.

What You’ll Find at the Advance Farmers’ Market

Visitors can shop for a wide variety of locally produced goods, including:

  • Fresh fruits and vegetables grown in Davie County
  • Farm eggs, herbs, flowers, and plants
  • Fresh pork and locally sourced meats
  • Home-baked goods, breads, and jams
  • Handmade crafts, gifts, and seasonal items

Each week brings a rotating mix of vendors, along with both longtime favorites and new additions for the 2026 season.

Local Bakers & Fresh Treats

The market features rotating bakers throughout the season, including:

  • Mission Manna (April 25 kickoff): Fresh-baked goods offered by donation to support local missions
  • Johnson House Bakery & Tea House (starting May 2): Known for cinnamon buns, pies, danishes, cookies, and more

Monthly Craft Vendors & Handmade Goods

Crafters are featured during the first three weeks of the season, leading up to Mother’s Day, then return every last Saturday of each month. Talented vendors add a burst of creativity and color, offering unique, handmade treasures you won’t find anywhere else.

A Farmers’ Market That Gives Back

The Advance Farmers’ Market is more than a place to shop—it’s a mission-driven effort supporting the local community. Vendor fees benefit outreach programs through Advance First Baptist Church.

The market also participates in the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP), helping eligible seniors access fresh, healthy food. Residents can learn more through the Senior Center in Mocksville.

Additionally, the market supports local food initiatives, including a community food pantry and partnerships providing fresh food to families in Cooleemee and across Davie County.
