Cooleemee Parade & Independence Day Celebration
Join the Town of Cooleemee on Thursday, July 4th, for an Independence Day celebration full of community, food, and fun for all ages!
Where: Starts at Cooleemee Elementary School | 136 Marginal Street, Cooleemee, NC 27014
The celebration will kick off at Cooleemee Elementary School with the annual Lawnmower Parade! Come check out all the lawnmowers, golf carts, walkers, cars, motorcycles, and more. Everyone is welcome to watch or join the lineup with their sweet, star-spangled ride of choice. Guests are encouraged to bring their own seating and watch the show along Marginal Street.
After the parade, head to the Zachary House. Hot dogs and drinks will be available for purchase, or you can dig into the watermelon and popsicles that will be provided free of charge! A Slip-n-Slide will be set up for the kids to cool down.
