The Loft at Sunflower Trail is a family-owned and operated wedding and event venue created for your special day. We broke ground in October of 2017 on the ground that our family farmed for decades. In August of 2018, we had our very first wedding, and we strive to provide a wonderful experience to all of our couples and clients. The venue is fully enclosed, climate-controlled, and ADA compliant. This is a 4,800 square foot facility with a seating capacity of up to 200 guests. The Loft is perfect for all seasons and available year-round. With multiple indoor and outdoor options, we can bring your vision to life. Wildflower fields and greenery are located all around the property. You can also find our sunflower fields in bloom during late summer and early fall. All of these spaces are perfect for bridal or engagement sessions. There is also a fire pit for guests to be cozy and enjoy the night under the stars.
Plan your dream wedding at one of Davie County’s oldest historic locations. Farmington Community Events Center is on the National Register of Historic Places and the 1950’s era schoolhouse recently underwent a $100,000 facelift. The official Davie County Blog featured the Center saying “Davie County is filled with hidden gems, and one of the brightest is the Farmington Community Center.” We offer wedding and reception space to accommodate parties of 300 or less with both indoor and outdoor spaces as well as multiple wedding photo opportunities on the historic grounds. Photographers utilize our space for bridal portraits as the ambiance offers the perfect backdrop to showcase the bride.
