Whether you love the nostalgic charm of a drive-in or prefer a blanket on the lawn, these movie nights deliver memorable experiences all season long.

Town of Mocksville: Movies in the Park Lineup

Set against the welcoming backdrop of downtown Mocksville, this free series at Main Street Park, 192 N. Main Street, is a favorite for families and visitors exploring the area.

June 13: Zootopia 2
Rating: PG | Runtime: 108 minutes
Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde return for another fast-paced adventure filled with humor, mystery, and heart as they tackle a brand-new case.

July 11: Elio
Rating: PG | Runtime: 98 minutes
A creative, space-themed story about a young boy who unexpectedly becomes Earth’s ambassador to an alien world—blending humor, heart, and discovery.

August 8: The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
Rating: PG | Runtime: 98 minutes
Join Mario and friends on a colorful, action-packed journey across new worlds in this fun-filled adventure for all ages.

September 12: Toy Story
Rating: G | Runtime: 81 minutes
A beloved classic that follows Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and their toy companions on a story of friendship and loyalty—perfect for closing out the season.

Attendees will receive a Golden Ticket for 10% savings at Quail Ridge Confections, The Foxhole, The Station Pizzeria & Taproom, Scoops, Love for Retro, and Black Sheep Yoga. Participants will have a golden ticket on display.

Before the movie begins, take time to explore downtown Mocksville’s dining and dessert scene—just steps away from the park. 

Grab dinner at The Station Pizzeria & Taproom for casual, family-friendly fare. If you’re looking for something quick before the show, downtown options make it easy to dine and stroll.

After dinner—or during the movie—treat yourself to something sweet. Stop by Scoops for ice cream or  visit Quail Ridge Confections for handmade chocolates and treats. It’s the perfect way to turn movie night into a full evening of local flavor and fun.

Davie County Recreation & Parks: Outdoor Movie Series

From park screenings to classic drive-in experiences, Davie County Recreation & Parks offers a mix of movie nights throughout the summer at Davie County Community Park, 151 Southwood Dr., Mocksville. 

May 29:  Coco (Movies in the Park)
Rating: PG | Runtime: 105 minutes
A vibrant, music-filled journey as Miguel explores the Land of the Dead to uncover his family’s story.

July 24: Incredibles 2 (Movies in the Park)
Rating: PG | Runtime: 118 minutes
The Parr family returns for another action-packed adventure, balancing their superhero duties with family life.

June 26:  Happy Gilmore (Drive-In)
Rating: PG-13 | Runtime: 92 minutes
A comedy favorite featuring an unconventional golfer with a powerful swing and plenty of attitude.

August 28: Space Jam (1996) (Drive-In)
Rating: PG | Runtime: 88 minutes
A nostalgic classic where Michael Jordan teams up with the Looney Tunes for an unforgettable game.

$10 per car / $15 per truck or SUV (up to 6 people)
Enter through Southwood Drive and follow staff directions
Parking opens at 7 p.m.; movies begin at dusk (around 8–8:15 p.m.)
Audio available via speakers or your car radio
Concessions and indoor restrooms are available
