It’s coming soon – that day of the year we express how we feel to that special someone in our lives. We romance them with dining, wine or champagne, and -most importantly- the Sweetheart Photo Contest! (You thought we were going to say chocolate, didn’t you?)
Love is in the air again and you should take a few minutes to enter the Sweetheart Photo Contest because you could win an authentic Italian experience at La Vita E Bella Italian Restaurant in downtown Mocksville.
This restaurant is a local favorite and with good reason. Their menu includes traditional Italian recipes that will transport you from the reality of a chilly winter to a golden moment in the Mediterranean.
That’s Not All
Our winning couple will also get an elegant musical evening for two at the Brock Performing Arts Center to see the ultimate in romantic oldies; The Mirror of Mathis concert on February 12, 2022. This show highlights the rich performance of David Robbins. Chances are, you and your significant other will swoon over songs that emulate the artistry of the great, Johnny Mathis.
How to Enter the Sweetheart Photo Contest
As always, we believe in the K.I.S.S. principle and aim to “keep it simple, sweetheart”. Just submit a picture of you and your significant other at a favorite date spot in Davie County.
To allow everyone a chance to participate, there are three ways to enter:
- Email your photo to chamber@daviecounty.com
- Mail your photo to the Davie Chamber, 135 S. Salisbury Street, Mocksville, NC 27028
- DM your photo to us @DiscoverDavieCounty on Facebook or Instagram
Contest Information
- Include your names, location, and phone number in your entry so we can contact the winner.
- Photos will be shared on our Facebook and Instagram accounts so pick the pics where you both look fabulous!
- The deadline to enter is 5 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2022. The winner will be announced and contacted on Monday, February 7, 2022.
- When you enter our contest you are authorizing Davie County Tourism to use your photo in this and future promotions.
- Your private contact information will only be used to get in touch with you if you are our winner.

One lucky couple will receive a mouthwatering dinner for two at La Vita E Bella Italian Restaurant and two tickets to Mirror of Mathis at the Brock Performing Arts Center on February 12.

There are so many ways to celebrate the ones we love and Valentine’s Day is a wonderful chance to focus on how much our favorite people mean to us.
