The Farmer’s Markets are back in full swing in Mocksville and Bermuda Run, and we can relish the freshest local produce and honey again. Celebrate Spring at Hillcrest Farm and select beautiful flowers to decorate your home all year round! Or immerse yourself in a maze of sunflowers with a visit to The Fields at Sunflower Trail.
Take the kids out to Spring Fest at Granite Ridge Farms, or visit Skybrooke Farm to pet and feed the baby alpaca and sheep. Don’t miss Cherry Hill Farm when it’s strawberry season or Hall’s Berry Farm when it’s time to pick blueberries. Or drop by Calahaln Farm and the Dew Drop Farm to snag a bunch of whatever is in season.
The fun and learning keep going all summer. Our hands-on kids’ museum, COGNITION Davie, starts signing kids up for honey bee demonstrations, sheep shearing, and Farm to Table learning experiences. And over at Herbal Accents, Mrs. Laura will teach you about herbs.

Explore how to grow mushrooms- Cedar House Farms would love to help – they have a class for that! They will also take you on a tour of the farm on a summer evening.
Nothing beats the simple pleasures of a beautiful view and a flavorful wine. As a result, our vineyards flourish with activity much of the year. September brings the Muscadine Grape harvest at Triple Springs Farm and the annual RiverWalk Arts Festival that highlights work from North Carolina artists. The festival includes live music, food vendors, and The Imagination Station for the kids!
The Pumpkin Patch at Cherry Hill Farms is an autumn activity to look forward to each year. In addition, downtown Mocksville hosts The Oaks Festival every October, and you don’t want to miss the corn maze at Granite Ridge Farms – check their website for exact dates.
